U.S. Foam Super Concentrate Training Foam is a highly concentrated training foam designed to simulate AFFF Class B foams and to allow easy clean up after a training session. When one or two quarts of Super Concentrate are mixed with water to make five gallons the 6% or 3% proportioned foam, using standard fire fighting foam generating equipment, will provide realistic foam appearance and performance for repeated training exercises.
Clean up after the exercise is made easy by hosing down the training foam with water and directing the dissipated foam into the waste water treatment system. U.S. Foam Super Concentrate contains no federally regulated materials and release reporting is not necessary.
U.S. Foam Training Foam Super Concentrate is not designed to extinguish flammable liquid fires and must not be used in lieu of a Class B agent for fire fighting either for training or for actual fires. When training, it is recommended that an appropriate Class B agent be available to extinguish any possible Class B fire.
6% Concentrate: Fill a five gallon mixing container to within two inches of full Pour one of the two pound bottles of Super concentrate into the five gallon pail of water. Close the five gallon container and shake moderately. The training foam agent is now ready to be educted or used as a concentrate. The eductor to be used in the training exercise should be set at 6%. If the agent is used as a premix, add it to additional quantities of water at a ratio of 6 parts of training foam agent with 94 parts of water.
3% Concentrate: Fill a five gallon mixing container to within two inches of full. Pour two of the two pound bottles of Super Concentrate into the five gallon pail of water. Close the five gallon container and shake moderately. The training foam agent is now ready to be educted or used as a concentrate. The eductor to be used in the training exercise should be set at 3%. If the agent is used as a premix add it to additional water at a ratio of 3 parts of training foam agent with 97 parts of water.
It is recommended that fresh concentrate be mixed prior to each training event to assure maximum foam quality.
U.S Foam recommends this product be stored in its original container to maintain its physical and chemical characteristics. Freezing and thawing have no effect on performance and the concentrate proportions satisfactorily in ordinary equipment at temperatures above 32F. Annual inspection as prescribed in NFPA11 is recommended.
Packaging available in 12 packs of quart bottles, 5 gallon pails, or 55 gallon drums.
